Re: Little Boots

Little Boots announced "Earthquake" as the next single.  If her campaign is still going strong we could possibly see her and Mr. Oakey releasing their little tune by the end of February!

Gary Numan states in timesonline interview today that he is to record a live session with her for Radio 6 Music ... probably in 2010 if we're lucky

Re: Little Boots

Saw Littleboots last nite and was very impressed. It was only a small venue and tickets were sold out. There was a real mixture of ages from teenyboppers upwards. It was the first night of the tour and she commented she was very nervous and felt they were under-rehearsed. There were a couple of small technical glitches, but nothing major. Her vocals were far, far stronger than I expected and she sounded excellent.

She covered most of her album tracks, including Symmetry and came back on in a fluffy dressing gown to do the a cover version and 2 more songs. Left the venue singing Meddle, which was my favorite live song and a bigger Littleboots fan than before.

Re: Little Boots

I'm not very good on my New Order  but I believe it was Bizarre love triangle, tho the technology didn't quite cooperate at the start. She sat down right at the front of the stage did the pianno-ey acoustic bonus album track first, then new order, then Stuck on Repeat, which went down particularly well.

She sang both verses of Symmetry and did a synthy instrumental during phil's speaky bit.

Re: Little Boots

I was watching Ellen DeGeneres talk show today.  I was surprised to see Derek Hough & Joanna Krupa (Dancing With The Stars finalist) dancing to Meddle!

Re: Little Boots

The Little Boots tour of America has come to a grinding halt after just 5 dates. Someone has mentioned poor tickets sales but not 100% sure what the reason is.

Re: Little Boots

i saw her a couple of weeks ago in seattle with dragonette.  dragonette were amazing live!  as much as i love little boots, she's lacking in the stage presence dept.  she doesn't seem to know what to do with herself when she's not behind the keyboards.  and i questioned some of the songs on the setlist...  she opened the show with 'ghost' which i thought was a strange choice.
