WOW !!

The Flying Dutchman can't wait to visit League land again again again & again !

ABC were great in London 1998; Wembley Arena. Those were the times.
First time Heaven 17 for me :-)

Re: The Steel City Tour 2008

In the studio interview featured on the H17 Scala gig DVD Martyn Ware recounts his efforts towards getting a H17 & THL gig organised and, along with Glen Gregory, comment that ABC would complete the line up; seems someone's efforts have born fruit.  Martyn and Glen then speculate on what they would all have to sing together at the end - any suggestions?!

Re: The Steel City Tour 2008

Looks like I'll be doing 8 out of 10, but I can't help wondering about the length of the leagues set. Most support acts get 30 to 40 mins. I can't imagine ABC and H17 wanting just that, so are we going to get just 40 mins of each group?

And how come Pauline broke the news before you did db? ;o)

Re: The Steel City Tour 2008

Sheffield for me too!!!! something to look forward to-I used to fancy the pants of Martin Fry,I also like Heaven 17 as well. Should be good.I will mark it on my calendar tomorrow and start counting down the days.Only thing is i'm not a big fan of arena's,being a big David Bowie fan too seen him 4 times at arena's,and you can't let yourself go with having to sit down.Is any body going for the hospitality suite at £99 per person? the menu for food is an xmas dinner,i would probably fall asleep after eating all that.Sheffield here we come AGAIN  big_smile big_smile

Re: The Steel City Tour 2008

Booked for London.  Don't give me grief, but I have booked seats upstairs, centre block Row B right by the aisle.  I can get to the bar without bothering people and still know that I have a place to come back to.  I really cannot be bothered going to be honest (at the moment) and am not sure if i will be in UK then anyway.  At least I will be able to hear some of the new ABC album live.

Apathy, made a monster out of me (or something similar to what Kirsty sang)
